دشنت حملة طيبة للإغاثة الطبية بتمويل من هيئة الإغاثة الاسلامية العالمية في المملكة العربية السعودية وتنفيذ مؤسسة طيبة للتنمية وتنسيق مع إئتلاف الإغاثة الانسانية تعز حملة توزيع الادوية على مستشفيات تعز . وتسلمت مستشفى الثورة العام بتعز كمية من الادوية والمستلزمات الطبية . وقال منسق الحمله أنهم يستهدفون المستشفيات الحكومية والأهلية العاملة في مدينة تعز ويعملون على تزويدها بالاحتياجات اللازمة في ظل هذا الوضع الحرج الذي تمر به مدينة تعز . وكانت مؤسسة تواصل بدعم من الهيئة الاسلامية العالمية الكويت في وقت سابق قد قدمت دعما هو الاخر لمستشفى الثورة بهدف تشغيل قسم العظام بالمستشفى .

ثمن الدكتور عبد الباسط سلام القائم بأعمال رئيس هيئة مستشفى الثورة جهود الهلال الأحمر القطري ومنظمة أطباء بلا حدود في دعم مركز الطوارئ الجراحي . وقال سلام أن الأدوية والمستلزمات الطبية التي استلمتها الهيئة من الهلال القطري وأطباء بلا حدود مثلت دفعة إنقاذ لمركز الطوارئ الجراحي ، الذي يستقبل يوميا عشرات الجرحى والمصابين ؛ في ظل نقص كثير من الأصناف العلاجية و المستلزمات التي يحتاجها مركز الطوارئ الجراحي . ويعتبر الهلال الأحمر القطري هو الداعم الرئيسي لمركز الطوارئ الجراحي بمستشفى الثورة حيث يستقبل المركز جرحى الحرب في مدينة تعز ويعمل على علاجهم مجانا . من جهته تحدث الدكتور نشوان الرباصي مدير مركز الطوارئ الجراحي بمستشفى الثورة أن المركز يستقبل يوميا الجرحى والمصابين بأعداد كبيرة وجميعهم يحتاجون لكثير من العلاجات والمستلزمات ويواجه المركز كثير من المشاكل بسبب ذلك . وقال أن الهلال الأحمر القطري يواصل دعمه لمركز الطوارئ الجراحي خارج إطار العقد الموقع معه لتشغيل مركز الطوارئ واعتبر أن هذا الدعم يمثل الشيء الكثير في سبيل معالجة الإشكالات التي يواجهها المركز بسبب النقص في كثير من العلاجات . وأضاف : منذ أن بداء الهلال الأحمر القطري بتشغيل مركز الطوارئ الجراحي في المرحلة الأولى والثانية استقبل المركز أكثر من 8500 جريح وأجرى 4000 عملية جراحية في كافة التخصصات الطبية . وصرح الرباصي عن حاجة المركز لبعض الأصناف العلاجية وبعض المستلزمات المهمة والعلاجات التي سيتم الرفع بها إلى المنظمات المتفاعلة للمساهمة في توفيرها نظرا لحاجة المركز الماسة لها مثمنا ما يقوم به الهلال القطري وأطباء بلا حدود في مدينة تعز .
