يُعد مركز الغسيل الكلوي بهيئة مستشفى الثورة العام بتعز من أبرز وأهم المراكز المتخصصة في رعاية مرضى الفشل الكلوي على مستوى المحافظة، نظراً لما يقدمه من خدمات طبية متكاملة تستند إلى أحدث المعايير والبروتوكولات المعتمدة من وزارة الصحة العامة والسكان·
ويضم المركز حاليًا 25 سريرًا مجهزًا تجهيزًا كاملاً بأحدث أجهزة الغسيل الكلوي، ويعمل على مدار الساعة لتلبية احتياجات المرضى المتزايدة من مختلف مديريات تعز والمحافظات المجاورة· وبحسب إحصائيات العام 2024م، بلغ إجمالي جلسات الغسيل المنفذة في المركز 31,000 جلسة سنويًا، بمتوسط شهري يصل إلى 3,000 جلسة·
ويستقبل المركز يوميًا ما يقارب 95 مريضًا، إلى جانب الحالات الإسعافية والطارئة، حيث بلغ عدد المرضى المسجلين رسميًا في سجلات المركز أكثر من 320 مريضًا·
وفي ظل تزايد الطلب وارتفاع أعداد المرضى، يحتاج المركز إلى توسعة عاجلة بإضافة 15 سريرًا إضافيًا، ليرتفع العدد الإجمالي إلى 40 سريرًا، مما سيُمكّن المركز من زيادة عدد الجلسات الأسبوعية لكل مريض من جلستين إلى ثلاث جلسات، مع القدرة على استيعاب جميع الحالات الوافدة دون تأخير·
كما يضم المركز مختبرًا طبيًا قيد الإنشاء وصيدلية مجانية لخدمة المرضى، ويتميز بكادر طبي وتمريضي مؤهل وذو خبرة عالية، يواصل العمل بتفانٍ لتقديم أفضل رعاية ممكنة للمرضى، في واحدة من أكثر الخدمات الطبية أهمية وإنسانية في المحافظة.
