استقبل اليوم رئيس هيئة مستشفى الثورة العام بتعز الدكتور عبدالرحيم السامعي مدير مكتب الامم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية في اليمن (الأوتشا) السيد ماركوس ويرني الذي يزور تعز حالياً وبمعية منسق كتلة الصحة العالمية في تعز د.عبدالناصر دحوه ومدير عام مكتب الصحة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الصبري.
وفي اللقاء استعرض الدكتور عبدالرحيم السامعي أبرز الصعوبات التي تواجه الهيئة، ومنها النقص الحاد في وقود الديزل و الأدوية والمستلزمات والأجهزة الطبية ، واحتياجات ملحة أخرى لبعض اقسام ومراكز الهيئة من التجهيز والتأثيث المتكامل والتشغيل ، وأكد السامعي أهمية تدخل المنظمات الدولية في دعم ومساندة جهود الهيئة في تنفيذ أنشطتها واستمرار تقديم خدماتها وواجباتها الإنسانية لاسيما في ضل الضروف الحالية والحصار الذي تعاني منه مدينة تعز منذ 9 سنوات .
وكان مدير عام مكتب الصحة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الصبري قد اطلعَ الوفد الزائر على احتياجات القطاع الصحي بالمحافظة خصوصا في الوقت الراهن والذي تعاني المحافظة لإنتشار الأمراض والأوبئة خصوصاً وباء الكوليرا والحميات وسوء التغذية الحاد، وثمن مدير عام مكتب الصحة ورئيس الهيئة تدخلات الأوتشا ودعمها للهيئة والقطاع الصحي بالمحافظة.
وكان الوفد الزائر قد تفقد اقسام ومراكز الهيئة ومنها قسم الطوارئ العام والأشعة ومركز الغسيل الكلوي ومركز الحميات والنساء والتوليد واستمع إلى ايضاحات من رئيس الهيئة حول مستوى الخدمات المقدمة في مختلف مرافق المستشفى والتطور الملموس التي شهدته الهيئة.
واكد مدير مكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية للأمم المتحدة في اليمن ، الاهتمام بمحافظة تعز وعمل مناصرة لتوفير التمويلات اللازمة لسد الاحتياجات الانسانية ودعم ومساندة الهيئة.
