دشن محافظ محافظة تعز نبيل شمسان اليوم الحملة الوطنية للتحصين ضد شلل الاطفال بحضور وكيل المحافظة للشئون الصحية الدكتورى إيلان عبد الحق ومدير عام مكتب الصحة والسكان بالمحافظة الدكتور عبد الرحمن الصبري.
وخلال التدشين أكد المحافظ أهمية الحملة الاحترازية والوقائية ضد شلل الاطفال والتي تغطي المدينة والمديريات و “من منزل إلى منزل” للأطفال دون الخامسة ، حيث تستهدف تطعيم أكثر من ثلاثمائة الف طفل في 17 مديرية من مديريات المحافظة مشددا على حشد كل الجهود الرسمية والاجتماعية والتوعوية لانجاح حملة التحصين ووصولها الى كل طفل وطفلة.
كما قام المحافظ شمسان بزيارة تفقدية لهيئة مستشفى الثورة وطاف بأقسام وغرف العمليات والعزل التي يجري تجهيزها بأحدث الاجهزة والمعدات والمستلزمات ووفق معايير عالية الجودة والكفاءة.
حيث أشاد المحافظ بالتجهيزات الطبية لغرف العمليات وغرف العزل والتوسعات التي تشكل أهمية كبيرة لتقديم خدمة طبية راقية مؤكدا أن السلطة المحلية نقدم كل الدعم والرعاية للهيئة كونها مرجعية طبية لابناء المحافظة بالاضافة الى خطط تحسين الخدمات الطبية في بقية المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية بالمدينة والمديريات.
كما زار المحافظ ومعه مدير مكتب الصحة ‘ المختبر المركزي واستمع من مدير المختبر الدكتور أحمد منصور لشرح حول طبيعة العمل في المختبر والكوادر والخبرات الطبية حيث أعرب المحافظ عن إعجابه بالتجهيزات الطبية وأجهزة الفحص الحديثة ومايقدمه المختبر من خدمات طبية متميزة تلبي احتياجات المرضى موجها بتوفير المحاليل والمستلزمات التي يحتاجها المختبر المركزي.
