استقبل اليوم الدكتور عبدالرحيم السامعي رئيس هيئة مستشفى بتعز الدكتور عمر زين السقاف رئيس المجلس الطبي الأعلى وجرى خلال اللقاء مناقشة تفعيل فرع المجلس الطبي بالمحافظة.
جاء ذلك على هامش زيارة السقاف إلى محافظة تعز للقاء بأعضاء المجلس الطبي لتفعيل المجلس في المحافظة.
وفي اللقاء، تطرق الدكتور السقاف إلى أهمية دور المجلس وضرورة حصول كل مزاولي المهنة في الهيئة وباقي المرافق الصحية على تصاريح مزاولة المهنة من المجلس وتصحيح أوضاعهم القانونية.
وأكد على دور قيادة الهيئة ممثلة برئيسها الدكتور السامعي في سبيل إنجاح أهداف المجلس الممثلة بتحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للمواطنين في المرافق الصحية الحكومية أو الخاصة وكذلك تطوير أداء ومخرجات مقدمي الخدمات الصحية.
بدوره، أكد الدكتور السامعي على أهمية تفعيل المجلس الطبي لما له من دور هام في العملية الصحية، مثمنًا جهود المجلس من أجل تحسين الخدمات الصحية.
